Worcester Art Museum –Exploring Math in Art
Grades 3-5, February 6 – March 26 (no class 2/20 or 3/12) 3:30-4:30 Fee $75, Minumum 10 students required. Registration Deadline, February 1st.
Join us for this hands-on, purposeful class that proves that Math + Art = Fun! We’ll create our own geometric designs that explore radial symmetry and create optical illusions. Examples from the WAM collection will show how artists use mathematical concepts such as patterning, measuring, symmetry, and 3D rendering. This class reinforces math concepts that the students are studying in school in a fun and engaging way. This course is taught by a professional artist/instructor from the Worcester Art Museum.
FAST Athletics – Super Sports (K-2) and Agility, Fitness Training and Dodgeball (3-5)
Tuesday March 6-April 10 at 3:45PM for grades 3-5, Thursday March 8-April 12 at 3PM for grades K-2. Fee, $70 per student, minimum 10 required. Registration Deadline, March 1st.
Active fun in a structured setting! In Super Sports, younger kids learn and play a variety of fun and exciting games each week. Agility, Fitness and Dodgeball combines basic strength, conditioning, balance and agility lessons and exercises with some safe dodgeball fun!
Afterschool Tennis Academy
Mondays, February 27 – April 9: Grades 1-2, 3PM-3:45PM , Fee $70 Grades 3-4 3:45-4:45PM Fee $80.
Registration Deadline, February 17th.
The After School Tennis Academy is designed for children in grades 1-4. The program provides all the appropriate equipment to conduct the lessons indoors. The primary focus is on basic stroke production. The students will learn the fundamentals of the forehand, backhand volley and serve with emphasis on correct grips and technique. The goal is to make the tennis game challenging and fun for all students.
Afterschool Theater Program – Production of Snow White and the 7 Dwarfs
Open to students in grades K-8. Program will run on Fridays, beginning March 16th, culminating in production in Mid-May. Fee $200.

Childrens Yoga and Zumba, located at Kate’s Powerhouse
Open to students grades 1 and up. Fee $35 monthly, registration ongoing. Payment due 1st week of the month to the studio. Students may take the school bus to PMLD to attend classes. Please email recreation@town.princeton.ma.us for more information.
Zumba class is 3:45-4:45pm on Tuesdays. Yoga class is Thursdays 3:45-4:45pm..
