On the afternoon of Sunday, May 6, the Princeton Arts Chorale, in cooperation with the Audubon Society, will be giving a concert in the Congregational Church, on the common. The program is called A SALUTE TO NATURE: ROBINS, RIVERS AND ROSES, and contains music of every sort about the glories of nature, with special contributions by the Thomas Prince School chorus and a clarinet ensemble directed by Nancy Ackerman. The pieces include O What A beautiful Morning, Over The Rainbow, Country Roads, Swinging On A Star, It’s A Wonderful World and many more. Some will
be sung by the whole Chorale and others by individuals or groups, and there will be sing-a-longs too. The program will last about an hour and twenty minutes.
Our musical leaders can’t be excelled. Larry Sigler, himself a great singer, is the director and Janeen Baker, our accompanist, is another musician of the highest order. Rehearsals are Sunday evenings from 7 to 9 PM in the church itself, the entrance to which is on its right side. Folders holding the music will be prepared for everyone.
We welcome men, women and young people. If you can join us, please call me at 978-464-0041. I’m David Lowenthal, the Chorale manager.
