Deadlines for March 6, 2012 Presidential Primary

Voter Registration

The last day to register to vote or change party affiliation for the March 6th Primary is Wednesday, February 15th. The Town Clerk’s office will be open on February 15th until 8PM for voter registrations, or you can register during regular business hours or by mail. If you are uncertain of your voter status please contact the Town Clerk at 978-464-2103 or by email at “townclerk@town.princeton.ma.us

Absentee Ballots

Absentee Ballots are now available in the Town Clerk’s office. Absentee ballots are for registered voters who cannot vote at the polls due to absence from town, physical disability, or religious beliefs. Absentee ballot applications for the March 6, 2012 Election are available at the Town Clerk’s Office or  online.
  • Completed applications must be received in the Town Clerk’s office by 12Noon on Monday, March 5, 2012.
  • Voters may request to vote their absentee ballot in person at the town clerk's office prior to Election Day or request a ballot be mailed to an address designated by the voter on the application.
  • While the deadline to apply for a ballot is 12Noon March 5, 2012 please allow time for the ballot to be mailed if not voting in person
  • Ballots cannot be hand carried from the town clerk's office
  • Voted ballots may be returned by mail or hand delivered to the Town Clerk’s office by the voter or a family member
  • Absentee ballots must be received in the TOWN CLERK’S OFFICE by the close of polls (8PM) on Election Day.
