Absentee Ballots – May 9, 2011 Annual Town Election
Absentee Ballots are now available in the Town Clerk’s office. Absentee ballots are for registered voters who cannot vote at the polls due to absence from town, physical disability, or religious beliefs. Absentee ballot applications for the Town Election are available at the Town Clerk’s Office or online at http://www.sec.state.ma.us/ele/elepdf/absentee_ballot.pdf
Completed applications must be received in the Town Clerk’s office by 5PM on Thursday, May 5, 2011.
Voters may request to vote their absentee ballot in person at the town clerk's office prior to Election Day or request a ballot be mailed to an address designated by the voter on the application.
While the deadline to apply for a ballot is 5PM, Thursday May 5th please allow time for the ballot to be mailed if not voting in person
Ballots cannot be hand carried from the town clerk's office
Voted ballots may be returned by mail or hand delivered to the Town Clerk’s office by the voter or a family member
Absentee ballots must be received in the town clerk's office by the close of polls on election day
