Long Pond permits are available now. The permit allows 20+ horsepower motors on Long Pond between Memorial Day and September 30. DCR limits the amount of permits to 50. Applications will be accepted in person at the Quabbin Visitor Information Center on April 13, 2011. Only one application per person will be accepted. Applicants must have the boat registration with them for which the permit will be written.
