Hey Day / Farm Day - sponsored by the Town of Princeton Agricultural Commission, the Princeton Arts Society and Mass Audubon at Wachusett Meadow Wildlife Sanctuary
All Town based organizations are welcome to participate. Last year’s event attracted over 550 people and we hope to attract a similar crowd this year. We welcome your involvement and more volunteers are needed. It is loads of fun!
Hey Day Update Meetings - short and sweet ( baked goodies at all meetings)
Every Thursday 7:30 - 8:30 pm at the Crocker House
This Thursday, Sept 16th and then the following:
Thursdays Sept , 23rd,30th- 7:30 – 8:30pm (we’ll try to keep them just to an hour)
So come when you can and spread the word- meetings will be short, sweet ( baked goodies at all meetings), and as productive as possible. We will review notes and suggestions to date and keep moving forward on getting all set for Saturday, October 2nd.
Attached are the updated flyers and posters. We will be sending them out with school children in the district as well as via town website(s) We also plan to do a Princeton town wide mailing to every household hoping to also attract participants in our vegetable and fruit critter and make a scarecrow out of all recycled materials contests.

*Setting up and taking down helpers- the week of the 27th we will have several set up tasks

*Whatever is needed…..
Such as help with cider pressing, hay rides, pumpkin painting, etc…
Donations Needed:
Pumpkins- We need lots for children to paint
Vegetables and fruit for the critter contest so children can have some to make that day if they don’t do it ahead of time- the more odd shaped the better!
Here is another idea- This would not get you free admission but you could be listed as supporters of the event and this would help us be sure to cover costs and raise funds. This may appeal to people who are so glad we are doing it and want to help but may not have time to volunteer-
Individual sponsorships: $20.00 and udonations get you listed as a sponsors
Family Sponsorships: $30.00 and up get you and your family listed as sponsors
Company sponsorships: $50.00 and up get your company listed as a sponsor (of course we hope some companies could do even more but since we are just getting started this would still be huge help)
We will list people that day on a public information board and also in upcoming newsletters and publications. In fact we could keep accepting donations all day and keep adding the names right then and there. Maybe we could have donated give aways for those who do donate. We have had lots of encouragement and excitement about Hey Day coming once again so we really appreciate your help and support.
