VOTER REGISTRATION DEADLINE
Wednesday, August 25th, 2010 is the deadline to register for the 09/14/10 State Primary. Residents who are currently not registered to vote can register at the Town Clerk’s office during regular office hours Mon-Wed 8am-3:30pm, Thurs. 8am-noon, and Tuesday evenings 5-7pm. Mail-in voter registration forms are also available upon request. A special registration session will be held at the Town Clerk’s office on Wed. August 25th from 8am-8pm. Mail-in voter registration
forms must be postmarked no later than August 25th.
ABSENTEE BALLOT APPLICATIONS
Absentee ballots are for registered voters who cannot vote at the polls due to absence from town, physical disability, or religious beliefs. Absentee ballot applications for the State Primary are available at the Town Clerk’s Office or online at http://www.sec.state.ma.us/ele/eleifv/howabs.htm.
Completed applications must be received in the Town Clerk’s office by 12Noon on September 13th, 2010.
ABSENTEE BALLOTS
Absentee Ballots are available in the Town Clerk’s office NOW. Voters may request to vote in person at the town clerk's office prior to Election Day or request a ballot be mailed to an address designated by the voter on the application.
- While the deadline to apply for a ballot is 12Noon Sept. 13th please allow time for the ballot to be mailed if not voting in person
- Ballots cannot be hand carried from the town clerk's office
- Voted ballots may be returned by mail or hand delivered to the Town Clerk’s office by the voter or a family member
- Absentee ballots must be received in the town clerk's office by the close of polls on election day
