The Town Clerk’s office sells hunting, trapping, sporting, and fishing licenses along with Primitive Firearms, Massachusetts Waterfowl, and Archery Stamps. Purchases can be made at the Town Hall Monday –Thursday 8am-4pm.
The requirement for purchasing a Hunting license is a previous year’s license or a Certificate of Competency from a basic hunter education course. FID cards are no longer sufficient.
Who needs a License?
- Hunting and fishing licenses are required of any person age 15 or older. *
- Trapping licenses are required for any person 12 years or older.
Please note that Cities and Towns are required to add $1.00 to the fee for each license class.
